2.3.3 Attack Model And its Interface

The interface for attack models are implemented in this simulator. Following parameters are or will be able to be configured to launch the specified attacks (e.g., SSDF, PUEA and Jamming). The new attack models defined by users can be implemented following the given examples.

·        Sensing report flip rate

This parameter is input into the MAC Layer module. The network node configured with this parameter acts as an adversary to launch the Spectrum Sensing Data Falsification (SSDF) attack. The sensing results (“0” or “1”) of this node are flipped with sensing report flip rate and then send the fake sensing report to the secondary base station (S-BS) which is implemented by the DSA module.

·        Channel index & Signal power

Channel index and signal power are configured and input to MAC Layer and PHY Layer respectively to implement the Jamming attack. The network node configured with these two parameters just transmits arbitrary signals with specified power over the specified channel bands.
